Consolidation Walkthrough for Australian Taxation Office
This project did not produce a standard paper document, but rather a set of display posters. Tax practitioners and business managers were invited to a display where they could read about the changes being introduced and talk to Tax Office personnel about the finer details. This project required simplifying complex taxation law into a few key ideas that were used to anchor the text. The key challenge was to write text that was sufficiently simple for a display, but that was also accurate and in accord with the tax legislation.
